Kotof Al Khair Health and Community Association successfully concluded the third phase of the Learning and Psychosocial Recovery Units Project for Children, funded by the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC), in a joyful closing celebration highlighting the achievements of children throughout the project.
The closing event featured active participation from the children, who presented a variety of performances and activities reflecting the knowledge, skills, and confidence they gained during the program. The event also showcased the positive impact of combining active learning with psychosocial support in helping children recover and thrive despite the challenges they have experienced.
The project aims to provide safe and supportive learning spaces for children by integrating educational activities with psychosocial support, helping them strengthen resilience, develop essential life skills, and recover from the effects of war and displacement.
